Job Description: 

Purpose of the Job / Position Summary: The Manager – Project, Transition & Change Management is responsible for leading and delivering cross-functional transformation, transition, and change management projects within Fertiglobe Services. The role ensures the seamless implementation of new systems, processes, and services across HR, Finance, IT, Procurement, and other shared services. This includes overseeing project governance, stakeholder engagement, readiness assessments, communication, and change adoption. The Manager ensures projects are executed on time, within scope, and with measurable business impact, driving operational excellence and long-term sustainability.

 

Business Complexity / Context: Operating in a fast-paced, multi-functional shared services environment, the role requires effective collaboration with multiple stakeholders, business units, and service providers. It demands strong governance discipline, analytical thinking, and the ability to influence and manage change across diverse functions. The position plays a key role in driving Fertiglobe Services’ transformation journey and ensuring organizational readiness for new initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end management of transition, transformation, and change projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Define project objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables aligned with strategic business goals.
• Develop and execute structured change management strategies to ensure seamless adoption of new systems or processes.
• Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with Fertiglobe standards.
• Conduct readiness assessments and stakeholder mapping to identify potential risks, barriers, and dependencies.
• Facilitate communication and training sessions to build awareness and stakeholder buy-in for change initiatives.
• Monitor project progress and prepare status updates, dashboards, and reports for leadership and governance committees.
• Manage interdependencies between projects and coordinate across HR, Finance, IT, and Procurement teams.
• Oversee post-implementation reviews to evaluate performance, capture lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement.
• Implement risk management frameworks, ensuring mitigation plans are in place and actively monitored.
• Collaborate closely with process owners and business leads to ensure sustainability of transitioned processes.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the project and transition teams.

• Initiate and roll out Project and change management practice in the FGS center

Knowledge & Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• 7–10 years of experience in project management, business transformation, or change management, ideally within shared services or consulting.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end project lifecycles, transition governance, and change management frameworks.
• Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Prosci Change Management is an advantage.
• Experience working across multiple functions (HR, IT, Finance, Procurement) and managing stakeholder networks.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, fluent in English & Arabic
